If you compare the west part of Neduntivu, where I was born and grown up, with the central part of the island, you may conclude the west as a backward area! I was born at 16:15 on a sunny afternoon of a Thursday, 1st of January in a small hut at Mooththar Valavu, Neduntivu -West. I learned my letters in a primary school and came to junior school in Neduntivu -Centre for my 7th standard.

In a cleaning work of that school at an abandoned dark room, I found a small notebook of former and the first principal Mr.Navaratnasingam with his amazing beautiful English hand writing!

Since I found this note book, full of English poems by famous poets in English, then I practiced to write like Mr. Navaratnasingam. I would say he is my Throner, a virtual Guru. I hope he lives in my hand writing of my Latin letters!
